BLUE SOURCE VISION 2050

The WTTS Foundation, in partnership with AMPAC USA INC, is pleased to announce the deployment of mobile water purification systems in Akobo. This initiative provides immediate access to clean water for local schools, hospitals, and families, addressing an urgent community need.

This deployment is the first step toward our long-term vision of establishing sustainable water infrastructure throughout South Sudan. Our future objectives include developing solar-powered treatment plants, community-managed distribution networks, and specialized training for local engineers. We remain committed to building lasting resilience across all ten states.

To align with the Vision 2050 framework, we have structured our approach into three key phases:

Phase 1 – Emergency Access: The current deployment of mobile systems to meet immediate needs in schools, health centers, and community hubs.
Phase 2 – Transitional Infrastructure: Establishing semi-permanent purification sites and community kiosks, supported by training for local operators.
Phase 3 – The Vision 2050 Water Network: Developing permanent, large-scale infrastructure powered by renewable energy, integrated into Akobo’s long-term development framework.
